Week Five or Six?...I can't keep up, I know I'm somewhere in October now.

  1. Hi, I ran across your blog today while searching for fellow bloggers who enjoy Christian concerts, and this post hit home.

I can totally emphasize with the getting alone with God and really desiring His presence, but it doesn't always work out the way we expect! Up until recently I had been a stagnant Christian, and then God really showed up and showed me my need for Him, that I couldn't do it on my own. But I agree, we shouldn't go into our relationship with him just looking to get things. Sometimes He tests us by allowing us to wait.

"I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord."

    -Psalm 40:1-3

Switching subjects, Ted Dekker and John Eldridge are amazing authors...I own like 5 of Dekker's books (I really like Adam). My girlfriend was awesome enough to buy a couple of them for me as gifts.

I also really like Eldridge's Wild at Heart and Walking with God.

Skillet, Lifehouse, and Kutless are all awesome. I've been a panhead (aka a Skillet fan)since their Alien Youth album, and have seen them six times in the past five years. I'm gonna go see Kutless in two weeks hopefully. Lifehouse is also my favorite soft band.

Yeah, I know this is probably freaky getting a reply this long from a total stranger but I'm always looking for fellow blogspotters who have shared interests.

I CANNOT WAIT for Lost to start up again! I heard a rumor that the remaining two seasons will be only 10 episodes long. Hope not-they still have a lot of explaining to do!

Sorry for being so long-winded but I;'m kinda bored right now so thought I'd try to meet some new people on here.

Anyways, good post. Reply back if you want.
